Raising £771.34 Thanks so much guys

DEFA for the second year running kindly donated the funds of the 2012 Food and Drink festival raising £1250.00 for the charity.

The Dream Catcher Appeal would like to say a big big Thank you to the family of Darren Self who for the second year running held a darts tournement in memory of their son and donated all the funds to The Dream Catcher Appeal. Thank you so much guys the chairty is extremly greatful.

We would like to Thank the girls from Garwick Guiding for dontating the funds from their Christmas Carol concert to The Dream catcher Appeal.
Thank you so much girls you have certainly all got talent.

The Dream Catcher Appeal were lucky enough to be one of the four Beneficiaries of the 2013 Peel new years day dip.

Pictured above is Mr Ray Johnstone Dream Catcher’s official superstar of 2012.
Mr Johnstone is a retired social worker and this year had decided to put his newly found free time to good use and hopes to raise a whopping amount for The Dream Catcher Appeal by reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Over the last few months i have worked very closely with Mr Johnstone and whilst putting in the hours for training and funding the cost of the trip from his own pocket he is determined that he will raise his target of £5000.00.
Ray suffers from Post-traumatic stess disorder as a result of his past experiences of being in the Army and is hoping to raise awareness of the condition whilst planning his trip.
Ray is looking forward to the challange which entails climbing a 5,895 metre summit of Mount Kilimanjarno in Tanzania with a group of fellow trekkers from the UK.
Ray likes the scope of The Dream Catcher Appeal in the fact that all monies raised and donated provide goods and services for people and charities only on the Isle Of Man and this is why he has decided to donate all funds raised on this trip to this wonderful cause.

The Dream Catcher Appeal would like to Thank Mr Ben Hartley and The gang of West End Gold for planning such a fantastic night and allowing The Dream Catcher Appel to hold a bucket collextion at the end of the evening.
The turn out for the event was fantastic and as always the public gave very generously to a whopping sum of £709.36p.
