Thanks to Titanic - The Musical

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

The Manx Operatic Society set sail aboard the Titanic for the last time on March the 28th. Based on the true story of the great ship’s ill-fated maiden voyage, Titanic followed the vessel from its departure from Southampton to its sinking in the Atlantic. The show followed the stories of real passengers and crew members who were aboard the Titanic back in April 1912. Tony Hawks played Mr J. Bruce Ismay, chairman of the White Star Line and Chris Maybury took on the part of Captain E. J. Smith who had to make the decision to abandon ship. Manx Radio took the Dreamcatcher buckets along to the performance and would like to thank the Theatre-goers for their fantastic generosity. More money raised. Hooray!
